Rolling out new services can be challenging, but Rantalainen’s customer manager Laura Iivonen highlights three important factors that have helped to create enthusiasm for using Cuckoo and motivated people to do so. Firstly, Laura believes that keeping breaks while encouraging active internal communication plays a big role. Cuckoo, for example, is integrated as part of new employee orientation.
As the third way of activating, Laura mentions regularly holding Cuckoo activity competitions. A small competition and cool prizes increase Cuckoo users and also do great for team well-being. Pirita Lamberg, who works with international customers, supports the idea that competition is a good way to motivate especially those whose usage of cuckoo has otherwise been lower to take breaks again. Pirita herself acknowledges being competitive and also motivated by Cuckoo’s other game-like features such as collecting points.
Activities competitions are very popular. A small playful competition always brightens the mood.
